I have decided my site is being used only for window shopping
Which is a big pain when it is getting some pretty decent traffic for which i have paid not a cent.So I have decided to chuck a brick through that window and think of a product I can offer to these people while they are shopping around. I know it is probably a waste of time but I am still the newbie type who is invested into the work and doesn't want to give it up (even though I now know how ridiculously easy it is to set up sites like these for nothing).
My last breath on this site will be to sell it.
Meanwhile back at the ...
List building site things are hotting up and I am working in a "just in time" holding pattern writing the content a few days before the auto-responder needs to send it out. I justify this by saying I have a full time job, children and partner to look after and multiple sclerosis. But the truth is, I love stuffing information into my head and I still love playing WoW or Horizons.So there is my weekly update on what is happening in the Allison world of IM.
P.S. - Talking to some coding buddies of mine about how hard it is to write a FB App and trying to think of a product or 6 fills up a bit of time too.

That I am building a list and I have no PRODUCT to Sell ....
Strategically that makes me a bit of a moron. Well a lot of a moron. But I think I started no really believing anyone would sign up. The list though, is growing exponentially and I can't let myself fail now.So the decision to be made is, what kind of product(s) can I offer these people. I know they like my writing and I know they are willing to sign up to a site that does not say anywhere on it that I won't use their email addresses for stuff (not that I would sell the list or spam it, just pointing out that they don't seem very sophisticated).
The world is my oyster I guess, and I just need to figure out what kind of a pearl I can make of my mess.
I am giving myself 6 weeks to launch something. I will keep you updated with the progress here.

I am wracking my brain on how I can get the visitors to one of my niche blogs to BUY something from the affiliate links there.
Some possible reasons- Site is only 2 weeks old - doubt that is a reason though
- Products on view are too expensive for demographic - well some are only a few dollars so i doubt if it is that
- Demographic has no money at all - Not what my research tells me. 15 - 25 year old trendy people are LOADED
- Not enough traffic - well I am getting 50+ average uniques a day, so that might be the case
- Not enough click throughs - another possibility with 126 click throughs/600 visitors. I thought that was a pretty good number actually!
- Something is wrong with the affiliate links - I am seriously suspecting that
- Something is wrong with the affiliates sites... all of them?
- I have created a window shopping site.... *cries* maybe?
Any suggestions?
